The idea around which the work project revolves is the icons of Fundamentalism, the imagery culture in which it is represented, and the aesthetics of dullness.
As a starting icon the artist chose a Sheep Armed with a Rifle. It is an image-oxymoron that combines the meek and peaceful character of the animal with the aggressive and violent archetype of the rifle.
The sheep -in Islam- is considered a sacred animal. Even today it is still part of the tradition to sacrifice this animal for important moments in life: weddings, travel, work, buying a house, etc. However, the artist could verify that in many cultures it is also considered a symbol of dullness.
